Famous Diabetics

Throughout my sixteen years of living so far, I have met a very limited amount of famous people. And when I say limited, I mean limited. Here are the two famous people I have met:

Justin Bruening... AKA "Chef Jeff" from Switched at Birth (highly recommend everyone to watch that show!!!!!!)

Anyhow, a fun fact connecting diabetes and famous people is that NICK JONAS has Type 1 Diabetes. If you don't recognize that name, maybe these photos will help jog your memory (is that the sayin? "Jog" your memory? It sounds right, but I don't get it...)

 

I actually found out that this Jonas brother is diabetic back in third or forth grade when my friend Jade and her mom made me a frame of Nick Jonas with magazine clippings and pictures to collage him and his diabetic story!

A fun fact about his diabetes is that in his music video "Who I am" he did this... (hopefully you didn't miss it)

 While I am not a "Jonas" fan (is that a thing?) it's pretty cool to see famous people going through the same experiences as me!
