Got Surgery for the First Time!

This is a non-diabetic totally random post, but also just kind of an update on my life! December has been great so far, but very stressful. Anyway, the other day, Friday, December 15th, I got surgery for the first time!

It was nothing that serious, I was awake the whole time and it took the doctor about 20-30 minutes to complete. I won't get into he details as it isn't that important, but that's what happened to me so far this month! Happy holidays!

Winter Wonderland!!

I've been to the State fair quite a lot of times (the wording of this sentence sounds kind of weird so far..) and I have to say I am not the biggest fan..

I always end up being the person who waits outside of the ride with everyone's bags and purses while they go on the ride because I am waayyy too scared.

Anyway, with that said, I just went to te Winter Wonderland in Sacramento for the first time! It was super last minute and sooo fun!! I loved seeing all the lights and walking around with my friends. It was a little cold, so good thing I was wearing three layers! Anyway, here are some pictures from my time at Winter Wonderland!

Thankgiving 2017!

I'm Thankful For...

Thanksgiving break is coming to an end soon. This break, I had a lot of fun with my friends and family (unfortunately, I wasn't very productive with studying...). Anyway, like I was saying, I have a lot to be thankful for! However, I have to say, one of the best things I did this break was hang out with so many animals!!!!

I know you're probably thinking, "?????" The thing is, I love dogs sososososoo much, but my family doesn't have any! So since I hung out with friends, I got to hang out with their pets!!

I Drew Yosemite!

For my biology/environmental science class, we have a national park project coming up! For this project, we are supposed to make a poster board of a national park in the United States. The one I picked was.... Yosemite!

I feel like I've probably already blogged about my trip to Yosemite with my parents a few months ago, but if I didn't...

 

 

 Anyway, I completely fell in love with this park! So many waterfalls, trees, flowers, trails... everything! The only downside was how crowded it was! People just can't get enough of Yosemite!

Back to my class. So for my poster board, I came up with the idea to kind of paint Yosemite on it, and then put all of my typed out writing work on top. I know I'm not the best artist or painter, but it was really fun to paint this and it took me about an hour! Here is where I am at with my project now -
