For the past couple years, I've been taking classes at the local community college. Two summer ago, I took an art class at ARC in Natomas with I completely loved. I love to draw and do crafty artsy projects, and everyday the teacher basically just told us to grab a couple objects and start drawing them with pencil and study their shadows, etc. Needless to say, I had a fun time in there and it was not difficult to get an A (not trying to brag... just saying that I LOVEEED the class so much that there was no problem in the amount of time I invested into the class).
This past summer, I decided to take chemistry at Sac City. Let's just say, it was not as fun as art. Basically, this was my summer 2017:
Wake up at 8. Eat and relax at home from 9-10. Drive to school. Arrive around 10:15. Study for quiz from 10:15-10:45 something. Go to class from 10:45-12:45. Eat lunch. Study at school from 1:30-3:30. Go to lab from 3:30-5:30. Go home. Relax. Study from 6:30-8:30.
That was my daily routine Monday-Thursday for six out of eight weeks of my summer. But I did like having something to do! Anyway, I struggled pretty hard in that class, but eventually I somehow got an A. I don't know how... it was all just a stressful blur.
Now fast forward to fall 2017. I talked with my counselor and she said I could take a college class and have free sixth. Of course I jumped at that opportunity! I signed up for an environmental science/biology class at FLC. The class sounded interesting and the professor had good reviews.
Well, being the person I am (NOT GOOD AT SCIENCE), I have been truly struggling. It doesn't help that basically our entire grade is based upon our 4 tests.
Anyway, the first two tests I got B's on and I was discouraged. I studied for hours for both of them! Then we just had our third test last Thursday and I got...
YES!! I finally got an A!!! I was basically jumping up and down all night, full of happiness! I don't know what the end result of this class will be, but I am just so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy some awesome pictures from my class:
Before class. What it looks like in my FUN science class!
Here is a cool picture of my forehead and the ceiling of my classroom :p
